Now, in 2025, Dale Jr. is bringing the memories of his Daytona win back to the track and to the ball field. Once again, the iconic Budweiser livery will feature baseball elements, just like it did in 2001, on Dale Jr.'s Late Model Stock Car in the August CARS Tour race at South Carolina's Anderson Speedway.
At Anderson, Dale Jr.'s No. 8 Budweiser Chevrolet Late Model will spotlight August's Speedway Classic baseball game that will take place at Bristol Motor Speedway. The same pinstripes, ballplayer, and more elements that were on Dale Jr.'s car at Daytona in 2001 will once again ride along in this return to the track.
Lionel's updated Late Model tooling, this die-cast will be an accurate replica in 1:24 scale of the newer generation Late Model Stock Car. Each 1:24 die-cast features an opening hood, authentic body contour, hand-applied decals, and more. Collectors of autographed racing memorabilia can also choose a 1:24 die-cast that is signed by Dale Jr. on the windshield. A radiant Color Chrome version is also available. A smaller, 1:64-scale version, which will come on a base, is also available for order. Each die-cast will deliver in custom packaging themed to match the car.
