JR Motorsports driver Connor Zilisch made a grand entrance to the NASCAR Xfinity Series by claiming the pole and the race win at Watkins Glen International in his first career start.
The 18-year-old driver held off the field through two overtime restarts on the 2.45-mile road course. With his No. 88 Carolina Carports Chevrolet Camaro, Zilisch led 45 of the races 90 laps for his debut victory, but it was still hard-earned. Zilisch overcame a late-race penalty and had to conserve fuel whilemaking his way back through the field. Undeterred, Zilisch was able to hang on for the win and became just the seventh NASCAR Xfinity Series driver to earn a win in their first career start.
NASCAR fans can now commemorate Zilischs first NASCAR Xfinity Series victory with the official Lionel Racing raced-win die-cast of the No. 88 Carolina Carports Chevrolet Camaro, which is available for order. Offered in 1:24 scale, each die-cast is produced with an authentic decal package, rollingGoodyear tires, and all the scuffs and race marks seen on Zilischs winning car in Victory Lane. An autographed 1:24-scale version signed by Zilisch, as well as a smaller 1:64-scale die-cast, are also on offer. Each die-cast will feature foil metallic numbers to further resemble the on-track version.
This JR Motorsports win die-cast will be produced as part of a strictly limited edition, so place your order today!
