NASCAR® legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been an avid online simulation racer for almost as long as he’s been a
driver of real-life stock cars. One of the pioneers of sim racing movement, Earnhardt still competes on the popular
simulation iRacing even today as he stays competitive even after his full-time NASCAR® driving career has come
to an end.
During the spring of 2020, Earnhardt and many fellow NASCAR® drivers are competing in a special multi-week
iRacing series, the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Series Invitational. In the series’ first event, the Dixie Vodka 150 at the
virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway, Earnhardt drove the No. 8 FilterTime Chevrolet to a second-place finish after
a thrilling side-by-side duel for the victory.
In a first for Lionel Racing, the Official Die-cast of NASCAR®, the die-cast version of an iRacing-specific paint
scheme is now available for pre-order. Fans of Earnhardt, iRacing, and NASCAR® enthusiasts alike can now order
the No. 8 FilterTime Chevrolet. Each 1:24-scale replica is being offered in two different trim levels – an Action

hood and trunk. A 1:64-scale model is also on offer.
